A Disney Princesses Tea Party – Girl’s Birthday Party Ideas

Looking for birthday party ideas? A Disney princess tea party conjures up fantasy thoughts from every girl’s dream. What better way to celebrate with friends than to dress up as the royal princess of one of your favorite storybook characters and enjoy a day of simulation and fun at home.

Hosting a tea party fits any budget. And what better way to introduce table manners, party planning, and etiquette to a young princess than a tea party?

For those of you who are not familiar with all Disney princesses, I will list them here for you. They are Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Bella, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, and Princess Rapunzel.

A birthday tea takes planning, so let’s get started. We have decided on the theme; Now take the time to choose a date, a time, and how many guests.

A tea party can be small and intimate or, if you like, larger. If this is for very young girls, you may want to include their mothers as well. Plan time around naps. Two hours is enough for a proper tea.

It is important to decide on a color scheme before planning your invitations. Girls love pastel shades of pink, purple, and blue. Of course, since this will be a “real” nature tea, there should be a lot of sparkle and shine. Accents of silver, gold, iridescent glitter, or faux pearls will be a nice touch.

Invitations to any party create excitement and excitement. I enjoy making my own homemade invitations and personally delivering them to my guests. Making special invitations with your princess using a little glue, glitter, and a computer will teach your daughter the first step in planning a party. Don’t forget, if you want everyone to dress up as princesses, make sure you put that on the invitation. If mothers are going to accompany their daughters, that should also be on the invitation.

The benefits of hosting a tea party are that you can prepare everything in advance and have a pleasant, stress-free afternoon. I can show you how.

Decorations can be as elaborate or simple as you like. Depending on the age of the princesses attending the tea, it will depend on the dishes you choose to use. Some are more comfortable using paper plates and cups. Others want to use real teacups, teapots, and plates for the girls to have a real learning experience. Whatever you decide, remember that it is for the girls to enjoy.

The table is always the main focus of a tea party, and this party is no different. The table should be covered with a nice tablecloth in the color of your theme. There should be cards with the names of each princess and her mother if she has been invited.

I love using a three tier tea serving piece with decorated cakes as a pretty centerpiece for many of my tea parties. A flowery centerpiece or tiara cake on the table with a little iridescent glitter will also make a really fun centerpiece.

The menu for a tea party are snacks such as crustless tea sandwiches and small sandwiches. I think the way you present the sandwiches is more important than the content of the sandwich itself. Make it fun and eye-catching and it will be delicious.

A birthday tea party should have some games and activities before the princesses enjoy afternoon tea. I got creative with some kids games and just changed them to suit my theme.

Of course, the Disney princess tea party must come to an end. It is important to say goodbye to your little guests with a party gift that they will have to remember on this fantasy day. A miniature teacup with a cookie in the shape of a tiara or a magic wand that they made as an activity. Ideas for a girl’s birthday party, such as a tea party, will be remembered for a long time.
