Article Sets: How Authors Can Produce More Quality Articles in Less Time

Writing articles is fun, but it can be even more rewarding when you learn to produce more in less time. Let’s look at the simple concept of writing articles in “bundles” rather than one at a time.

Definition of element sets:

A * item set * is each time you produce 2 or more items at the same time.

Types of typical item sets you can produce:

1) Sets of articles by topic or subtopic.

Example: If you were writing about racquetball as a topic, you could make a plan to write 2 articles on racquetball nutrition, 4 articles detailing each of the different racquetball colors on the market and what they mean, and a 10 – article pack on forehand or backhand exercises.

2) Sets of articles by writing style.

Example: one style can be all bullet points, another lists of things, another is a question and answer approach, another can be conversational or discussion of topics.

Note: Each type of writing is best when done in sets of the same style.

3) Accidental Item Sets.

Example: Your goal is to produce (2) articles of 400 words each. As it starts, it kicks in and accidentally produces a fantastic 800 word article. Split the article in half, give the other half a new title, and you have an instant set of articles … even if it was created by accident.

4) Sets of articles based on frequently asked questions from clients or prospects.

Example: customers or prospects are always asking questions. Tune in, group them by topic, and then come up with a few sets of articles that answer each question. Using the racquetball theme, you may have 7 questions from your audience on how to prepare for a tournament. Each of them makes excellent article topics.

5) Sets of articles researched by keywords.

Example: Do keyword research for a topic or subtopic related to your niche. Returning to the topic of racquetball, a quick search on a keyword search engine for the topic “racquetball” returns the following results:
