You get it when you deserve it

Everyone in this world seems to be searching for something. The search begins when we were children and continues until our last breath. As a child, we look for material things like toys and food. As adults, we also seek non-material realities like love, happiness, pleasure in our search.

The question arises-

What are people looking for?

Why are they searching?

Our common sense tells us that we look only for what we don’t have, something we need and believe that it exists somewhere in this world.

Every quest is like a treasure hunt. We know there is a hidden treasure somewhere but we don’t know exactly where it is. We are only given certain clues that help us to get only the next clue. If we can understand all the clues, we will finally get the treasure.

The treasure is only for those who demonstrate merit to deserve the treasure.

What are we searching for?

When we get something in life, we automatically believe that we always deserved it. This assumption is not wrong as nature gives only what we deserve. However, when we don’t get what we want, instead of accepting that we don’t deserve it, we often blame the world and even God for not giving us our due.

God gives only when we deserve it. His Rules are also followed in this world. For example, if you ask your company to give you a raise or promotion, or ask your teacher to give you more points, will they give it to you because you want it?

Do not.

If they are honest, they would tell you that you will “automatically” get your due when you deserve it.

A famous Urdu poet, Allama Iqbbal, asked men to improve their merit in order to get God’s bounty. in their own words

Khudi ko kar buland itna

ke har taqder se pehlé

khuda band in pocket

robe teri race kia hai

(Increase your Self to such a level,

May God ask you

Before deciding anything for you

“What do you want?”)

Worldly wealth is permanent and transferable

While God is quick to give you what you deserve, he is equally quick to take it away if you lose the merit.

You cannot retain the gift of God, once you stop serving.

You only get what you deserve.

However, it is not easy to maintain credit as people begin to believe that they will continue to enjoy what they got. They regard God’s gifts as their earnings in this world, which once earned cannot be taken away.

In our worldly government, we have made sure that all the material wealth that we acquire by our own efforts or that is given to us as a gift always remains with us until we die. We’ve also made sure that we can give away our wealth to whoever we want (whether they deserve it or not). Even if we don’t give it to anyone, it automatically passes to our children or our spouse or our relatives and disciples after we leave this body.

Worldly wealth is transferable.

Therefore, one cries if he loses the gifts of God. We want to keep our wisdom, knowledge, love, happiness, respect just like we can keep material things. Therefore, we blame God when we lose it.

Divine gifts are transitory and non-transferable

Albert Einstein is considered the greatest scientist in history. He wrote four articles in the year 2005 when he was only 25 years old and working as a clerk in the Swiss Patent department with a meager salary that he barely managed to support his two ends. However, these four articles included his articles on the photoelectric effect (which earned him the Noble Prize) and his articles on the theory of relativity (which made him an icon) and Brownian motion.

The three papers were so brilliant that each paper deserved a noble award.

However, once he became famous and people expected him to make similar brilliant discoveries, he was unable to do so despite his best efforts.

The gift of wisdom and knowledge goes only to those who deserve it.

Many people have fallen from the Grace of God once they stop serving it.

The Secret of Obtaining God’s Generosity

If we look deeper into our desires, we find that we are all searching for our own selves. We want wealth so that we can own many material things in this world and have more pleasure in life. We want power for ourselves so that we can rule others. We want knowledge so that we can demonstrate our intellectual superiority and earn people’s respect and use this knowledge to make more money.

All our searching seems to be for our own gratification. We hardly look for others in the world. We care about our own good more than the good of others.

And we seek God’s help to fulfill our desires.

It is most illogical to expect God’s support when the only thing that interests us is to fulfill our desires. God is the Creator of everything and He will bless us if we do something for all of his children.

Naturally, He will give gifts only to those who seek the good of all rather than just for themselves. Therefore, He blesses those who help others and seek favor from him to help others. Therefore, if you become the instrument of God doing good to all, the gifts of God will be poured out on you.

Otherwise, you can only search for it, pray for it, and still get nothing.

If begging can make people rich, beggars should have been the richest people in this world.

Rig Veda expresses this desire in man in the following sentence

May good thoughts come to us from everywhere, pure, unobstructed, overflowing. May we, O Devas (gods), with our ears hear what is good. Saints, may we see with our eyes what is good.

Help others to help yourself

It is a universal law that for any action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Therefore, those who help others are also helped by others. They acquire wealth and glory in this world. Not only saints but also businessmen, leaders, kings, dictators carved out their destiny for the good of others. Even Hitler got his powers from the propaganda of truth and justice. This statement by Hitler expresses his desire to work as an instrument of

As a Christian I have no duty to be deceived, but I have a duty to be a fighter for truth and justice.

Even the most ruthless dictators achieved success due to their genuine desire to do good for all. However, once they gained power and success, they took these gifts for granted and their merit diminished. Gradually they became undeserving of these gifts that were taken from them.

A messenger of the King often begins to treat them as King because in the absence of the King, people identify them as King. Often people, who are selected by God to be his messenger, begin to believe that they are divine. Such people soon fall when God’s mercy is taken away from them. It is then that these people realize that they are no more than any common man.

Transform yourself to deserve

The only way to get what you seek is to transform yourself so that you truly deserve what you want. Each person is like a transmitter and receiver that start receiving signals as soon as one tunes to the required frequency. As we constantly change, so does our frequency, that is, our ability to understand and follow God’s thoughts. God’s grace comes automatically if one becomes eligible for it. Therefore, stop looking for your treasures outside of yourself, since all the treasures are in you. You can get everything you want simply by transforming yourself and becoming a worthy recipient of worldly and spiritual treasures.
