When you think of a jello cake recipe, there is only one cake that is so popular that it immediately springs to mind: the classic jello cake. 1 package of white or yellow cake mix (for two layers)

1 small package flavored gelatin, any flavor

4 eggs

1/3 cup of oil

1 cup of water (for the cake mix)

1 Cool Whip container (12 oz.)

1 cup of water (for the gelatin)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Prepare cake according to package directions, using eggs, oil, and water. Bake cake in 13×9-inch pan for 40 to 45 minutes. Let the cake cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes.

Make holes all over the surface of the cake with a fork.

Dissolve gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Pour the warm gelatin slowly over the surface of the cake (the gelatin will soak into the cake). Put the cake in the refrigerator and chill for about 4 hours.

Spread whipped topping over cake before serving. Refrigerate leftover cake.

1 package (3 oz.) strawberry gelatin

3 tablespoons of flour

1 cup of oil

1/2 cup of water

1 package (10 oz.) frozen strawberries

In a large bowl, sift cake mix, flour, gelatin, and salt. Add the oil and water. Hit good. Add eggs, one at a time; mix well.
