What are some delicious gas grill recipes?

Cooking outdoors with a grill is a very fun activity. Serious grillers can use their gas grills almost every day, while casual grillers can use them from time to time and seasonal grillers can use their gas grills during grilling season, of course. No matter what kind of grill you are, I’m sure you appreciate it just the same.

Apart from the outdoor cooking experience that we would like to have, one thing that is similar among many people is the common love for grilled food. What good is all that processing on the grill if you’re not aiming to produce a great meal in the end? No doubt even the smoke coming from your gas barbecue grill is already making their mouths water!

In order to produce delicious, hunger-inducing food, you need to be equipped with basic recipes made for gas grilling. The following recipes are simple and easy to follow, but will guarantee you super clean plates at the end of the meal.

grilled brisket

Ingredients: Chicken breast Barbecue sauce Onion Chili powder Garlic powder Black pepper Bay leaves

Procedure:

Wash the brisket well and drain. Trim excess fat. After removing the fat, season the brisket with onion, ¾ cup chili powder, ½ cup garlic powder, ½ cup black pepper, and a couple of bay leaves.

Preheat grill, then reduce to medium heat. Place the breast on the grill, especially on the side where the flame goes out. Chicken breasts are best cooked without direct flame. After that, turn the side with the flame to a low setting and then cover the grill.

Wait about 2 and a half to 3 hours. Make sure the center of the breast is at 140 degrees. After waiting, remove the breast from the grill and brush on some barbecue sauce. The type of barbecue sauce you will use depends on your preference. Then wrap the breast in aluminum foil and return it to the side without flame.

Cook the brisket and wait another 2 1/2 to 3 hours. This time the center of the brisket should reach 200 degrees. Turn the breast to warm all sides. Remove the breast from the grill, but keep it in the foil for about 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Roasted Fish

Ingredients: Salmon fillets Salt Pepper Dill

Procedure:

Wash the salmon fillets and drain the water. Remove the skin if you prefer. After removing the skin (or not), season the fillets with salt, pepper and dill. You can also use commercial seasonings that are ready to use. You can also choose to marinate the fish in a marinade of your choice. However, do not marinate the fish for more than 15 minutes.

Next, preheat the gas barbecue grill to medium-high heat. You can wrap the fish in aluminum foil to ensure that none of its meat falls through the grill grates. Before wrapping, grease both the grill grates and the foil. Cook fish until opaque and turn to heat the other side.

Cooking fish is easier than other recipes and won’t take much time. The fish will only take 8-10 minutes of cooking time, so be careful not to come off the grill. Also make sure your fish is not cooked over direct heat.

grilled chicken

Ingredients: Boneless Chicken Breasts Vegetable Oil Italian Seasoning Garlic Powder

Procedure:

Wash chicken breasts well and drain excess water. Season chicken breasts with 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning, and 1 teaspoon garlic powder. You can choose to add 4 tablespoons of mustard, but that’s optional.

Cover chicken breasts completely. You can do this by mixing all the seasonings in a Ziploc bag and adding the chicken breast. Then shake completely. You can also use a bowl. Be careful not to pierce the chicken as its meat can dry out.

Preheat gas grill to medium-high heat and oil grill grates. Place the chicken on the grill racks and wait about 20 minutes.

grilled corn

Ingredients: Corn on the Cob Butter Salt

Procedure:

Try to remove as much corn silk as you can from the corn without removing the husk. After removing the silk, soak the corn in water for about 15 to 20 minutes. This will prevent the corn from burning.

After soaking the corn, remove it from the water and squeeze out any excess moisture. You don’t have to dry it completely, just make it wet enough. Not too dry but not dripping. Preheat gas grill to medium-high heat, then place corn on grill grates.

Remember to flip the corn every 10 minutes. Not doing this will result in corn with one side burnt, instead of cooking evenly. You’ll know your corn is done when the corn husks already look charred.

Remove corn from grill and corn, remove husk and silk. Take care when doing this to avoid burning your hands. After removing the shell and silk, spread with butter and sprinkle with salt.
