Eating healthy will speed up your metabolism and prevent even more fat from accumulating, but to lose weight you have to get moving to start burning that fat. Instead of doing something boring like running into nowhere on a treadmill, pick something you really enjoy doing. It doesn’t matter what it is, as long as you sweat while doing it. I like swimming, but to lose weight you could walk, ride a bike, or just put on some headphones and dance.

Lastly, if you really want to lose weight, you need to drink a lot more water. There are no calories in the water, so you can drink as much as you like. Eliminate soft drinks (even diet ones) and juices. All they do is add empty calories and other non-nutrients that do absolutely nothing to help you lose weight. But water will actually help you feel full, and it also helps regulate blood sugar. Start paying attention to your body, because sometimes you may think you are hungry when what your body really needs is water.
