Praying to overcome invisible barriers to entry
Recently, I received a frenzied midnight
call from one of my readers in Atlanta.
A member of theirs was facing foreclosure
at home in a matter of days.
He needed my advice… desperately.
I sat down and wrote 14 prayer points.
and I emailed it to him, along with
specific instructions on when and how
pray them
(just to make sure we’re all on the same page,

She quickly passed it on to her friend, Betty.
As sometimes happens, Betty was too tired
to pray that day. But he remembered Claire,
a childhood friend of hers in Texas was
being kicked out of your home for something similar
reasons. So what he did was call her
and dictate the sentences to him over the phone.
This is what happened…
Claire said those prayers that night
(desperately, I might add) before you go
to bed as directed. The next morning
she was awakened by the shrill sound of
The phone rings
“Clear?” asked the voice on the other end.
“Yeah, who’s on the line?” She answered,
wondering who could be calling so early…
at 5:30 am
It was his account officer on the mortgage.
company, calling her to tell her that he had a
brain wave overnight that might help
your avoiding foreclosure! she would have to discuss
with his manager that morning and if everything worked out
Well all I’d have to do was walk in
and sign some papers later in the day.
At 1:00 pm the second call came. Clear
he hurried to do the paperwork.
Mission accomplished!
Well, when Betty heard Claire’s story,
he quickly began to say the exact same prayers.
Before the week was out, one of his “distant”
relative (whom I hadn’t seen in a long time)
suddenly fell out of nowhere.
He ended up buying the property and (listen to this)
Resell it to her at zero cost!
Incredible?
Actually, there is a little-known biblical text
principle behind all this. You see, the prayer
The points I gave were carefully designed to bring down
invisible barriers to entry that exist in
every community, in every city, in
every country on this planet.
What is a barrier to entry?
Look at this as an invisible structure.
(or entity) whose job it is to keep people out
to enjoy certain benefits in certain places.
Think of the many (well-qualified) people
You know who somehow can’t seem to settle
even a good job; or some of which
they seem to lose them mysteriously;
Or those who can’t hold on to the good things
for too long, before you know it,
Relationships turn sour, friends turn to enemies,
depression and drugs set in
(there is a really huge market for
antidepressants in my city…).
If you notice these things happening repeatedly,
you need to carry out what is known as,
“Spiritual Environmental Health”.
That is how.
Pick a date when you might have a very light
dinner (or nothing at all).
Right before bed, do these 8 things:
1. Begin by singing praises to God.
2. Open your Bible to Psalm 91 and read the
the whole chapter out loud (this is one of the most
powerful ‘coverage’ Scriptures in the Bible).
3. Symbolically sprinkle the blood of Jesus
on your land (your land is the spiritual
space that God has assigned you).
4. Ask the blood of Jesus to start speaking
upon your land (Hebrews 12:24 says that blood speaks, you know).
5. Go to the doors and high places of your
land using Ps 24:7
6. Ask the Lord to release his angels on your land.
7. Use David’s key to open the prison doors.
of your land (this is a spiritual key that
Jesus gives his beloved followers for this
type of operation Rev. 3:7).
8. Give thanks to God and close with praise.
Simply put, that’s the pattern I followed when
I created those prayer points.
Why am I telling you this?
To show you that for every problem you may face,
There are directed prayers that you can pray to
Deal with them.
Unfortunately, most people are
unaware of these and the consequences are that a
many people are suffering needlessly.
What I hope to do here is offer you
something you can do right now to get
results of your efforts – if you are a Christian.
(I’m not interested in telling you pie in the sky
stories that don’t work).
