People believe in the glamor of the music business; some even consider this industry as all fun and games. Everyone who wants to work in the music business must learn how money works; have a good eye for selecting talented artists, know how to find the right people for the right jobs, as well as fulfill many other tasks. Most people think that because they went to school and studied music, they will automatically be employed. Although these skills are taught in school, they learn the theory. We all know that things cannot be taught with words or theory. Practical experience nullifies theoretical knowledge! That is why record companies choose to invest in people with extensive experience. Again, this is the deal; Until you have had some actual work experience, you will not receive a job.
