A data entry supervisor is a person who directs the activities of a moderately sized data entry and control section. He or she plans and assigns work to ensure a smooth flow of work within the organizational unit.

2. What are the duties of the people who hold this position?
Individuals in this position are responsible for preparing production schedules, ensuring a smooth workflow, and maintaining attendance records. He or she interviews prospective employees, operates data entry machines on special and difficult jobs, and develops new methods and procedures. He or she performs all supervisory functions and monitors the performance of remote terminals.
